Ingredients
  • 1 large tin of chick peas, drained and washed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • Fry light
  • Pasata
  • Veg of your choice
  • Cheese, grated – HEA x 2
Instructions
  1. Place some baking paper on a flat baking tray & spray with frylight
  2. Blitz chickpeas, salt and egg to a puree in a food processor
  3. Spread mixture thinly (0.5-1cm) over baking paper and spray again with frylight
  4. Bake at 220c for about 10 to 15 mins or until brown & crispy
  5. Spread pasata or a home made tomato sauce on the base
  6. Add toppings of your choice
  7. Cook a further 5 to 10 miins
  8. Sprinkle HEA of cheese over and bake for a further 5 mins
Notes

Free on Green ( as far as I know )
Adapt the amount of cheese depending how many servings you want
If you want add meat or fish, use HEB

Ingredients
  • 300 gm plain yogurt
  • 150 ml tomato juice – 1 syn
  • 170 ml skimmed milk – 1/2 HEA
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
  • 1/2 cucumber, diced
Instructions
  1. Mix yogurt and tomato juice
  2. Stir in mint, garlic and milk
  3. Season to taste
  4. Add cucumber
  5. Chill for at least 2 hours
Notes

This is virtually syn free as it serves 4
Would be really creamy if made with 0% Greek yogurt

  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 350gm cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Fresh herbs of your choice
  • 5 tbsp fat free French style dressing

  1. Mix together and serve

Use this as a base and add other veg
Also nice with HEA of cheese scattered over e.g. feta
